The transcriptomics data in StreptoBASE can be accessed via web services. Two kinds of service are available:

• A single web service that can either be accessed directly or via SOAP that allows you to run many kinds of queries on the database, but requires some knowledge of how to call the queries.
• A set of web services, where each service perform distinct queries on the database, each with well defined argument sets. Again, each service can be accessed directly or via SOAP.

Taverna users, you can import all the services using the Workflow scavenger and pointing to this workflow that lists all the services. Also, a Taverna workflow exists for exporting data to the GEO format.
